Rodrigo Gonzalez - a wunderkind. Currenly the main bassist in German rock group Die Ärzte, Rod has been playing and recording
music for years. Meeting Ärzte drummer Bela B. Felsenheimer during their stint in hard-rock outfit Depp Jones, the two soon
became firm friends and Rod was at the top of Bela's list when it came to re-forming Die Ärzte with Farin Urlaub. The rest,
they say, is history, with Ärzte becoming one of Germany's highest regarded progressive rock/punk/pop outfits, packing stadiums
and selling millions of records in Germany alone.
Rod's career has gone from strength to strength on a personal level as well. Forming RodRec, a recording company and sister
to Ärzte's HotActionRecords in the late ninties, Rod has also dabbled in the food industry (with Berlin sushi bar Catfood)
and a solo single - a disco cover of Kiss' I'd Fight Hell To Hold You. He also showed his considerable musicial talent
by co-arranging Ärzte's 2002 Rock'n'Roll Realschule for MTV Unplugged, a reworking of Die Ärzte's songs
to include acoustic instruments and a high-school orchestra and choir.
The leader of The Rod Army - a large and vocal group of Rod fans - Rod has shown himself worthy of the praise and fan-base that
seems to follow him where ever he goes. Remember - Rod <3 You...

The site was made using freehand HTML in Macromedia Dreamweaver (yeah, kind of defeats the purpose, doesn't it?) and employs
the most basic CSS you've ever seen and iFrames. The graphics were made in Adobe Photoshop and use some fonts stolen probably
from Kim. The main image comes from
the official Ärzte site, so no infringement is intended, guys. The site title is from a track of the same name written
by Rod, which you can find on Die Ärzte's latest offering, Geräusch.
